And The Oscar Goes To...

Wow! What a great Oscar show this year! Is it me or did it feel a little more political than usual? With the mention of women's rights, war veterans, and racism the show had a weight of tension dropped upon it. Not to worry, that's not what I'm getting at here! I want to discuss what people were wearing! Oh. My. God! I just couldn't believe myself! Let's get started!

Gosh, where to start? Oh right. Lady Gaga. I love her and all, and I know uniqueness is her thing but I just was not feeling this dress.

It looks like Lady Gaga is going to do her dishes at the Oscars or something. Maybe next year, Gaga.

Now on to my personal favorite! Jennifer Lopez absolutely killed everyone at the Oscars by arriving in this!

Quick! Someone give her the glass slipper already! She looked incredible in this nude color ball gown that had a long train (she almost tripped on stage!). I am never disappointed with Jlo's fashion choices for award shows. She is the master at making everyone else look bad.

New York Fashion Week

It is over, but hardly even forgotten!  New York's famous "fashion week" was held in from the 11th of February to the 19th by Mercedes-Benz and featured many top designers in its midst. Some top designers were Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Proenza Shcouler, Bibhu Mohapatra, and, my personal favorite, Calvin Klein. Some designers even showed their 2015/2016 fall and winter wardrobe collections.

So many stylized models glided through the runway that just made the audience drop their jaws. Some models wore fur, some wore wool, some wore close to nothing!

Over all, fashion week was a complete success in my opinion! Here are some links to pictures of some collections by Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Calvin Klein, and Bibhu Mohapatra. Enjoy!

Rave Outfits

I have been going to many raves in the past year (Beyond Wonderland, NRG, Borgore & Friends, Crush SF, etc.) and deciding what to wear is always the hardest thing. Do I want to wear something I can dance in or something that looks really cute? Well, it usually ends up being a mixture of both! Raves are usually really packed and if it's in a closed area you will sweat a lot. Basically, I wear very little clothing but enough to where I am comfortable.

I dance a lot so I want to make sure my outfit is fun to dance in too! Many of my rave outfits have a theme as well because I love adding my personal flare to each outfit. I never forget to wear some sparkles because a rave is basically an intense light show with music and I love watching light bounce off my outfit! Here are some of my rave outfits:
